In pursuit of healing…

Liz Strick’s “In pursuit of healing…” on cover of PhD thesis on mathematical modelling in oncology.

This painting was a commission I made on behalf of my cousin Coen van Hasselt for the cover of his PhD dissertation “Integrated Quantitative Pharmacology for treatment optimization in oncology.” The subject of this assignment stood close to my heart especially at the time. It gave me a great incentive to start up painting again after 8 months of no activity through illness.
